Locations
The University of Arizona Cooperative Extension DPP is offered either in-person or remotely over Zoom, all across the state. Classes are offered in English or Spanish (depending on location/educator).
In Person
Face-to-face DPP classes are offered in select counties across Arizona: currently Santa Cruz County is the only county offering in person DPP classes.
Distance (over Zoom)
Classes are also offered remotely, over Zoom. Any Arizona resident at high risk for diabetes is welcome to attend.
Eligibility
This program is for adults at high risk for diabetes, or who have been told by a health provider that they have prediabetes. Take the risk survey here to see if you are at risk, or click here to see the criteria for participation. Eligible participants can take our program for free.
TEMPORARY ELIGIBILITY WAIVER: if you have diabetes and not prediabetes, you are temporarily eligible to take our program for free. Feel free to join! In addition, consider joining our Dining with Diabetes program. More information, including a link to join our waitlist here.
